It is always a bummer when red wine or fruit juice on your shirt or carpet.  Try to get remove the stain first with salt, before running to grab a harsh chemical spray.

When it comes to red stains, you need to be FAST!  Right when the stain hits the floor or clothing, pour a good amount of salt on it and leave it there for a few minutes.  The salt should soak up most of the red liquid.  Brush the salt away and if a stain is still there, then start blotting it with club soda and terry cloth.  That should do the trick!
